BLUE POINT, NY – NOVEMBER 29, 2021 – The Bayport-Blue Point Public Library has set Saturday, December 18 at 11:00am for the grand opening of its new facility on the grounds of the former site of the St. Ursula Center at 186 Middle Road in Blue Point.  

As of December 1, 2021, the old library will be closed to the public as the library starts to move into its new facility.  During this time library services will be limited to online programs, phone or email reference, and limited availability to pick-up holds and materials from curbside pickup. Patrons requiring in-person library services during this period are encouraged to take advantage of inter-library loan privileges at neighboring libraries such as Patchogue-Medford, Connetquot and Sayville.
