Friends of the Library
The Friends of the Bayport-Blue Point Public Library, an all-volunteer organization, is committed to sponsoring a variety of programs designed to meet the needs of our entire community and providing general and financial support for the library.
Our projects have included children’s workshops and story hours, adults’ practical skills and crafts workshops, on-site recitals, lectures, and readings. Your membership dollars and contributions sponsor summer concerts, community events, and provide items for the Library of Things.
Bayminster Dog Parade and Artisan Fair
A Friends of the Library Fundraising Event
Sunday, April 27, 1pm –4pm (Rain date May 4)
Do you want to share in a fun day with a community of pet lovers? Then join us for our Pet Parade and Artisan Fair.
There will be shopping, music, food trucks, games, kids’ activities and of course our parade of pooches!
Parade will begin at 1:45. We will “march” around our beautiful garden behind the library.
Judging to follow, if you think your dog has the right stuff. (optional)
Suggested donation to participate in the parade and/or judging is $20. Pre-Registration open until April 15. (Pre-register to avoid waiting in line.)

3. Join Online: Fill out our online form. Follow directions to arrange a tax-deductible membership.
