Proper Use and Liability:

Please use care when handling all materials from the Library of Things collection. The borrower is solely responsible for all items checked out and will be billed for reasonable repair or replacement costs associated with damage or loss of items and/or peripherals due to neglect or abuse. All items are to be returned in the same condition as they were borrowed, barring normal wear and tear. The Library has sole discretion in assessing the condition of an item.

The Library is not responsible for any injury, loss, or damage that may occur from use of Library of Things items.

Prior to borrowing an item from the Library of Things collection, all patrons will be required to sign a Library of Things Lending Agreement.

The responsibility to protect against loss/damage is the borrower’s. Library staff will inspect items in the collection prior to borrowing and again upon return.
