Rethinking the Big, Bad Wolf

Thursday, May 23 at 1:30 PM

Duration: 1 hr

Writer and scientist Erica Cirino has traveled to remote corners of New Mexico in search of the United States’ most endangered wolf.  Along the way, she learned of the stereotype of the “big, bad wolf” and how it has led to wolves’ widespread persecution and demise.  In her presentation, Erica will tell her stories from the field, including her expedition looking for endangered wolves in New Mexico, attending wolf community meetings in Europe and much more.  BPA610
