Marilyn Carminio will be here to discuss two of the greatest musicians in the history of the 20th century. This lively presentation will showcase the lives of Louis Armstrong and Ella Fitzgerald. She will explain how despite their impoverished origins and the oppression of the Jim Crow south, they grew up to become cultural icons who continue to hold a special place in the hearts of music lovers everywhere.
