Joaquin and the Hot Knives is a dynamic, four-piece psychedelic blues band from Brooklyn, NY.  The band draws from a combination of classic honkey-tonk piano blues, post-war electric blues, modern psychedelic music and rock & roll.  Signer Joaquin Cotler's unique vocal style and the innovative, exciting guitar work of Seth Johnson give the Hot Knives their distinctive and satisfying sound.

Sunday, Sep 20th from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. The culture of France at the turn of the 20th century was one of leisure difficult to relate to in today's fast world. This culture continues today only in private gatherings among French people. Having met through their parent's French club, Melanie Chirignan and Sina Kiai will perform some of the music written in that atmosphere of leisure and share the unique influence of France on classical music.

Sunday, May 31 from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. The Standards have been paying tribute to famous American songwriters for ten years. This program, entitled "This Funny Thing Called Love" (from the song "What Is This Thing Called Love") pays tribute to the great Cole Porter. The songs have been placed in such a way as to suggest the interaction of a couple of on-again-off-again lovers. Performers include Peter Morrison, creator, pianist & tenor, Gregg Sixt, tenor, Kathleen Gubitosi, soprano and Amelia Chiaramonte, mezzo soprano.
